Reach out if you’re curious to work together and set up a free 15-minute phone consultation.

  • I offer both! Sessions are offered in-person in Jersey City, NJ and online for clients located in any part of New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

Many of my clients are busy and prefer to meet online from the comfort of their own home. Others are “zoomed-out” and benefit from the connection of working together in my office. Let’s discuss what works best for you!

Please know that appointments for children, adolescents, and couples are always in-person.

  • My office is located in The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City. The address is 94 Bowers Street, Jersey City, NJ 07307. Use the door to the right of the “Heights Psychotherapy” sign.

I’m conveniently located near major bus lines (87, 123, 119) and the 2nd Street light rail station. There is street parking or a municipal parking lot located on Central Avenue between Bowers Street and Griffith Street.

    $225 per coaching session (60-minutes)

    $225 per couples session (60-minutes)

    $325 per couples session (90-minutes)

I require a valid credit card on file which will be processed the same day as your appointment.

  • I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any appointments that are cancelled late or not showed for will be charged the full session fee.

  • No, all of my services are private pay - with a credit card, FSA, or HSA.

I do not accept or contract with any insurance health plans. I am considered out-of-network or a non-participating provider.

It is important you make an informed decision about working with me. Prior to scheduling a consultation with me, I recommend calling your health plan’s member services line to ask if you have out-of-network benefits. The questions to ask your health plan are:

    1. Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?

    2. Are the following CPT codes covered services: 90791, 90834, 90837, 90846, 90847?

    3. What is the reimbursement rate that I can expect if I submit a receipt/”superbill”

    4. How do I submit superbills for potential reimbursement?

If you have out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a receipt/ “superbill” for you to submit to your health plan for potential reimbursement. Please know that health plans require all services be medically necessary with a mental health diagnosis in order to be reimbursed.

If you require an in-network provider, I recommend asking your health plan for a list of in-network providers in your area.

  • Great question! The answer is, it depends!

My clients start with weekly therapy until we get to know each other and clarify your goals and objectives.

I recommend planning for 3-6 months of therapy. Depending on what you want to accomplish, some people require more or less. I have extensive experience providing both short and long-term therapy.
